We spent a minute with the ‘entrepreneur for entrepreneurs’ Lisa Messenger. Founder of Collective Hub, author, brutally honest, wonderfully generous and lots of fun! Enjoy!
What is your super power?
“Ah, that’s one I asked Sir Richard [Branson] the other day. What did he say? Biceps or something? I would say probably being a problem solver and a connector and having empathy. I can see anything and come up with a solution pretty much. I think very laterally and differently about things.”
“I always say anything is possible. And I also always say fail fast. And I think that they’re both really important. Because so many people see failure as the enemy, but I just say make it your friend, but just do it quickly and do it often and then move on.”
And what’s your guilty pleasure?
“Probably iced latte. I’m drinking too much coffee. I never used to drink coffee.”
Something you wish you’d been taught or knew how to do?
If you could spend one hour talking to someone living or dead, who would it be?
“Probably at the moment Bill Gates. I think he’s just doing phenomenal work philanthropically and he’s kind of giving pledge and things. Bill Gates or Nelson Mandela”
